- She was doing a science experiment
- She’s being charged as an ADULT
- She’s being charged with a FELONY
If this all goes the way the prosecution wants, this young woman will be LEGALLY discriminated against for the rest of her life. No voting, housing discrimination, employment discrimination (as if getting a job while black isn’t hard enough), etc. etc.

GOOD HEAD The men’s rowing team from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY found this seven-foot tall foam and fiberglass head floating in the Hudson River. We can only guess where the rest of the statue ended up, but we hope boaters won’t confuse any other body parts for an, ahem, buoy. (via the New York Daily News)

Over 100 Members of Congress are backing a bill (CISPA) that would give private companies and the US government the right to spy on any of us at any time for as long as they want without a warrant. This is the third time the US Congress has tried to attack our Internet freedom. But we helped beat SOPA, and PIPA — and now we can beat this new Big Brother law.
